Thing is, you have to be careful - because, if you make the common mistake of devaluing the expertise of a professional writer, you run a lot of risks:

• Poor quality end result (because if you cut costs, you'll undoubtedly hire a low cost writer who isn't skilled)
• Low priority to your project (because writers can see when someone doesn't value their service and so place less value on the completion of the project)
• Unfinished project (when the writer recognises he or she is being devalued and 'walks' off the job)

... and these are just some of the risks involved - which end up costing you time, effort and MONEY in the long run.

When I use more of my skill and expertise, it costs you more.

Just like the comparison between a dental nurse and a dentist - one can care for your mouth but only one of them is trained to pull teeth and I know who I'm trusting to get the job done!

As a writer I am trained in many areas. I'm no "dental nurse" - I am a "dentist" who is still perfecting my craft.

So - I'm not the MOST expensive copywriter you'll hire.

However, if you only want to offer me peanuts, I can Monkey Around with the best of them and;

• You will be very disappointed with the end result
• I'll be humiliated to drop to that level as a professional (my reputation is not built on 'monkeying around'), and well, both of us will have lost out.

What I expect of you this:

You need to have a willingness to set aside a budget and a willingness to pay me.

I generally charge an upfront fee - which can be anywhere from 20%-50% of the project value as determined by your budget and my professional evaluation of my time and skill.

Turn-Around Time:

Depends on the project. Direct mail takes longer to produce than do Professional Bios. You need to be clear on your deadline and I will give you a good indication of how long it will take.

Urgent work may be considered with surcharge.
